It's really a nice book.... when I open the page1..
making me keep reading it...

That's why these are good stories.

In your sentence "look forward" is better than "expect"
Check the Macmillan dictionary.

When I start to read "The Elephant Man".
I discovered that I didn't want to stop reading.
The story let me fall into think about it.
And made a lot of picture in my head.
I also play the activities behind the text.
I'm going to interested in reading, I guess.

Read Elephant Man Chapter 3.4, found that no matter where you are, someone laughed at him, the disease is not what he wanted.

That's life. It doesn't matter what you say or do. Somebody somewhere will not like you: you can't make everybody happy.

I think you mean that the disease is not Merrick's fault. Other people are behaving unfairly. Right?

Yes, I got it.

When I read all "The Elephant Man", I felt very happy, because I seldom read English story books, especially in a short time. I realized that choosing a suitable level is more important , and finishing it easily and less frustration.

Mr. Merrick had a unfortunate life, getting a special disease at that time, at least he got happy time in last 3 years.
